Professional Development Manager and Chef Advisor
The American Culinary Federation is seeking a full-time professional-development manager and chef advisor to manage multifaceted development activities. Responsibilities include: advising ACF in culinary, food service, professional development and educational activities; developing, expanding and implementing educational offerings consisting of programming, curriculum development, online training and Knowledge Bowl staff liaison; and cultivating relationships with educational partners and agencies. Candidate must be able to evaluate market strategies for new program development, maintain and develop systems to track program performance, provide leadership to staff and volunteer committees and implement methods to increase professional-development offerings.
Position requirements: associate degree or higher in culinary arts or hospitality management, bachelor’s degree preferred;
ACF-certified executive chef or higher; 10 years of culinary experience a minimum; three years of food and beverage management; and knowledge of wines and wine pairing.
